This butterfly is designed to hang from the ceiling and placed near a window it will respond to the breeze by rotating, and when the light is right, cast pretty shadows on the wall. Lovely for a child’s room too
It was inspired by the fantastical butterflies that adorned the outside walls of our houses in the 1950’s and 1960’s along with the ornamental fretwork on New Zealand’s colonial villas.
It measures 300mm wingtip to wingtip and comes packaged in a box for easy and light postage.
